This manual is one of many responses to the call made by the 1998 Education Orientation Law in Cameroon, which highlights the cultural grounding of learners and their openness to the world. It does not claim to be a comprehensive guide for acquiring knowledge of Cameroonian languages. Rather, it is a factual, evolving, and measured process aimed at developing the appropriate attitudes and skills that will impact the know-how and interpersonal skills of its target audience.
